I bought the duck-lidded version featured below the rabbit version. But the bowl volume is identical. I believe 1.25 dry quarts converts to 84 cubic inches. The ~14 x ~5 x ~3" rectangular choices are well over 200 cubic inches. So, how big a pate do you wanna make?Cons: I think this holds about 4-5 cups. I wish it were bigger and in a more uniform shape for cooking and slicing.Pros: You can make a somewhat mini-pate which is more economical in all ways: terrine purchase price, ingredients, and energy expended in oven time. It's a quality product which will cook well without disappointing surprises. And it is pretty to gaze at on an exposed shelf in my kitchen all the days of the year I don't use it.Hint: Pate is a refined layered meatloaf, so go create. Conclusion: It made me want to search for a bigger one, but I'm pleased with this.
