Le Cuistot cookware is made of cast iron which is fired at a temperature of 800 degrees C to ensure long-lasting life for your cookware. The stylish shapes and colors of Le Cuistot, as well as its heat retention characteristics allow you to bring food from the stove or oven, straight to the table. The enamel coating does not react to food, making it safe for storing food in the fridge. This tagine by Le Cuistot is designed with a shallow enameled dish and conical lid which is ideal for the long, slow simmering of rich flaverful recipes. The tight-fitting lid forms an excellent seal to keep moisture and heat inside. The conical shape also helps moisture circulate throughout the piece so there's no need to open, stir or turn the tagine, making for easy preparation. The enameled cast iron construction distributes heat evenly around the tanjine, eliminating hot spots. It is suitable for use on all heat sources, including induction. It should be cleaned with warm soapy water or Le Cuistot porcelain and enamel cookware cleaner; cleaning in the dishwasher is not recommended.
