Its a well built warmer. The only real problem is the dial for the heat. Would it be to hard to make it temp instead of a numeric?

I purchase 2 of these warmers to use in my food truck. They work really well and keep my food products really hot. I would recommend you add HOT water when you first cut them on. This shortens the heating time. You can cut them on high when you start out, but once they are warmed up, I would recommend using a lower setting. Although they aren't suppose to cook the food being kept in them, they do get very hot and over several hours you will need to keep and eye on what you're warming and adjust the heat setting accordingly. Check the heat of your food, before serving any product to your customers. I usually cut it down to 2 or 3 on the heat settings once the warmer has heated up. The drain works slowly and it's just simpler and faster to simply poor the water out of the warmer after each use. They aren't all that heavey. They do use a good bit of amperage to operate, but work perfectly. Not the best quality, but for the cost, you can't go wrong.
